FandomGobbler.

Archive of Our Own has millions of stories across thousands of fandoms, but no native way to keep track of active and past reads beyond a lengthy bookmark creation process. Users usually rely on making their own tracker spreadsheet, keeping a forever list of tabs on their phone or desktop, or quite simply using their own memory.

FandomGobbler is a sidebar-based extension that lives alongside AO3 and Fanfiction.net and lets you, with minimal effort, track future, current, and past reads with a click. You can even rate works, track if works get deleted, hide works with tags you'd rather not read, make notes, and toggle amongst default/light/dark mode!

FandomGobbler doesn't require an account and doesn't run any servers of its own. Every reading status and list you create is stored locally in your browser via local storage and nothing is uploaded, tracked, or shared with anyone, including me.

The tradeoff of local-only storage is that it doesn't sync across devices on its own. If you choose to use the optional Google Sheets export to bridge that gap, that data goes directly to a spreadsheet in your own Google account. FandomGobbler will never sees or stores it.
